The Wall Cabinet is a wall-mounted cabinet in solid bamboo with woven rattan cane door panels — two doors enclosing an adjustable-shelf interior, plus an open shelf at the base for frequently accessed items. The internal shelf repositions in 8 cm increments, allowing the two compartments to be configured around the height of contents. Doors close flush on a magnetic catch. A closer look at The Wall Cabinet

Most wall cabinets operate on the assumption that what goes inside will never change. The Cabinet was designed differently: the internal shelf repositions at 8 cm intervals, so the two compartments can be set to the actual height of what is stored — a tall diffuser, a row of skincare, a stack of hand towels — without leaving wasted space above or forcing items to sit at an angle.

The open shelf at the base runs the full 55 cm internal width and remains unobstructed by the doors. It handles the items reached for daily: hand soap, a small candle, objects that do not need to be contained but do need a surface. Above it, two woven rattan cane doors close flush on a magnetic catch, keeping the interior quiet and concealed.

The bamboo frame sits at 20.5 cm deep — close to the wall, casting almost no shadow. A piece that organises the room without visually dominating it.

What is the difference between natural and synthetic rattan?

Natural rattan is sourced from the rattan palm and brings organic warmth and texture to an interior. Tonal variation between pieces is a natural characteristic, not a defect. It is best suited to indoor environments, away from prolonged moisture or direct sunlight.

Synthetic (PE) rattan is a premium polyethylene weave engineered to resist UV, moisture, and heavy use without fading or warping. It has all the refinement of natural rattan and is suitable for both indoors and outdoors. Each product listing specifies which material it uses.

Can I use my furniture outdoors?

Only pieces specifically described as suitable for outdoor use in their product listing should be placed outside. These are made with synthetic PE rattan, which is weatherproof and UV-resistant. Natural rattan pieces are indoor only — prolonged exposure to moisture, rain, or direct sunlight will cause them to weaken and deteriorate.

How do I clean and look after my rattan furniture?

Both natural and synthetic rattan wipe clean with a damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. For natural rattan, keep it away from excess moisture and store indoors. For synthetic rattan garden pieces, a gentle clean with soapy water and a soft brush is ideal. Rattan naturally improves in character over time with light use.

Do I need to assemble my furniture?

Most pieces require light assembly. Each product listing specifies whether assembly is required and how involved it is. Clear, illustrated instructions are included in every box.
