The Dorset was designed around a single discipline: that a coffee table should do more than hold a cup. The tempered glass top provides a clear, hardwearing surface for everyday use — resistant to heat, scratches, and the general demands of a living room. Below it, a woven rattan shelf introduces the warmth and texture that glass alone cannot provide, and offers practical storage for the things a living room inevitably accumulates. The oval form is a considered choice. It takes up less visual space than a rectangle, moves better around sofas and armchairs, and — in a smaller room or apartment — simply works harder. The white metal frame keeps the structure light and lets the rattan and glass speak for themselves. The Dorset is a table that looks considered from the moment it arrives, and grows into its space over time.
The tabletop is tempered glass — a surface that resists everyday heat and scratches while keeping the upper tier visually open. It sits within the metal frame rather than resting on top, giving the Dorset a clean, integrated profile from every angle.
The lower shelf is woven from natural rattan and set within the oval metal frame — providing practical storage while introducing warmth to the overall form. Large enough for books, small baskets, or a trailing plant. Wipes clean with a damp cloth.
