Coffee Table
Most coffee tables are built around metal. The Acacia is built around solid acacia wood — a hardwood known for its density, warmth, and the subtle variation in grain that makes each piece slightly different from the last. The oval frame and tapered legs reference a mid-century discipline: the belief that a table should feel as good to look at as it is to use. The glass top and PE rattan shelf complete the picture. The glass is tempered and heatproof — the kind of surface a cup of coffee can rest on without ceremony. The PE rattan shelf resists fading and moisture, making it more durable than natural rattan in everyday conditions. Three materials — wood, glass, and rattan — brought into a form that requires no further explanation.
Solid acacia wood provides the structural foundation of this table — a hardwood that is dense, warm in tone, and naturally varied in grain. The oval silhouette and tapered legs reflect a mid-century influence, while the brown finish complements both contemporary and traditional interiors.
The clear tempered glass top sits within the acacia frame — heatproof, easy to wipe clean, and resistant to everyday scratches. Its transparency keeps the table visually light, allowing the wood grain and rattan shelf to remain the focal point.
The lower shelf is woven from PE rattan — a synthetic fibre that resists fading, tearing, and moisture more effectively than natural rattan. Set 20 cm from the floor, it provides practical storage for books, baskets, or decorative objects.
