Most mirrors resolve to a rectangle or a circle — shapes that organise a wall without asking anything of it. The Constance takes a different outline: an irregular asymmetric form that leans slightly, widens at one point, and narrows at another — a silhouette that reads as deliberate rather than merely decorative.

The woven rattan-weave border runs the full perimeter of the frame, following every curve of the irregular outline. Against a painted wall, the natural tone of the weave introduces texture rather than contrast — it reflects warm light rather than blocking it, and sits differently to a metal or lacquered wood frame in the same position.

At 85 × 60 cm, the reflective area is large enough for daily use — hair, outfit, face — without the piece needing to justify itself on functional grounds alone. The 4mm aluminium mirror provides a clear, undistorted image. The asymmetric form reads as intended only when hung vertically, and two wall hooks with expansion screws are included for installation.
